Folle notizia riportata da Rajah: a quanto pare Ashley sarebbe coinvolta in un'inchiesta dell'FBI su un giro di escort ma nelle ultima ore è saltato fuori che c'è una modella di Las Vegas che si chiama anche lei Ashley Massaro e che probabilmente zoccoleggia un po'....cmq sia ecco tutte le news in ordine cronologico: da notare che Ashley sta smentendo sul suo blog ogni coinvolgimento...


The new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine with the girls from "The Hills" on the cover features an article about a high-end escort service in Los Angeles, California. The escort service is run by a woman named "Nici" who would set up beautiful women (Playboy Playmates, Maxim and FHM models, porn stars) with rich clients who would pay up to $25,000 a night for their "services".

The escort service was busted by the FBI, and the Rolling Stone article lists the names of several of Nici's escorts - one of whom is WWE Diva Ashley Massaro. There is a picture of Ashley in the article and she's listed as a WWE star and Playboy cover girl.

It's important to note that there was no explicit implication that Ashley ever had sex for money. We are simply stating the facts - that she was among the women involved in the high-priced escort service.


-- As reported by Michael earlier, the new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine features an article on a high-end escort service based out of Los Angeles. The escort service would set up beautiful women with rich clients for their "services." The escort service was recently busted by the FBI do to shady doings. The article lists the names of some of the escorts, one of whom is Raw Diva Ashley Massaro. There's also a picture of her in the article. Massaro herself recently got word of the article, and has posted a brief blog on her MySpace page (www.myspace.com/ashleymizassaro) in her defense. She wrote:

To expound on the story of WWE Diva Ashley Massaro being linked to a Los Angeles based escort service that was recently busted by the FBI, it's not just the ring leader making that claim (Michelle Braun a.k.a. "Nici"), but rather, the FBI as well. According to the article, the FBI tracked down e-mails in which the escort service made travel arrangements for clients, including Ashley Massaro. The article cited FBI search warrant information that turned up e-mails listing travel arrangements made by the escort company for Massaro and others. In the escort service's defense, Braun the ring leader said, "All I do is make the introductions between famous girls and rich guys who want to meet them. I think the rates I charge are justified just to meet these women, even if nothing happens." According to the article, "prominent athletes, TV stars, and Fortune 500 CEOs" were among Braun's clientele. FBI papers omit the names of the men who allegedly paid for the services, yet list the names of Massaro, other Playboy models, a Maxim model, and a few adult film stars. Also, some of the e-mails discuss whether the women allow "fetish" or "GFE" (girlfriend experience). You can see a photo of Massaro on page 52 in the May 15 issue of Rolling Stone featuring the girls from The Hills reality show.

TMZ.com has posted an article regarding the story on Ashley Massaro and some other models being tied to an escort service. TMZ's headline reads: "WWE Diva Fingered in Escort Ring?" Initially, Massaro wasn't mentioned in the story, simply referring to her as "A prominent female WWE star." An hour and a half after TMZ's article was published, they named Ashley in the story, citing her denial from her MySpace page. TMZ has contacted WWE to comment on the story, but they have yet to respond. To see TMZ's take on the story, click HERE. TMZ plans on adding more details to the story as they get it.

It is now coming out that there is a bikini model by the name of Ashley Massaro based out of Las Vegas. She is a few years younger than the WWE Diva, and the two are often confused because they look similar. Rolling Stone's story naming the WWE Diva could very well be a mix-up.

PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson contacted Rolling Stone Contributing Editor Michelle Grigoriadis, who put together the article on the escort service that was busted by the FBI. The writer of the article stands by her story, despite the denial from Ashley Massaro, not to mention the online theories. Grigoriadis commented, "Obviously, I stand by my story. Massaro is named in an FBI search warrant that was executed on Michelle Braun's property in October, 2007. I have no knowledge of another woman by the same name."

According to her piece, the FBI monitored e-mails between Massaro and "Bella Models." The e-mails are from 2004, regarding transportation arrangements. The monitored e-mails were used to help build towards a search warrant on the ring leader of the escort service, Michelle "Nici" Braun. The search warrant was finally executed during a raid of Braun's home in October 2007.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer started the theory on there apparently being another model by the name of Ashley Massaro, and that the WWE Diva may be confused with a model of the same name. Braun's escort service was made up almost exclusively of high-end women recruited "from the ranks of Playboy models and porn stars." Massaro was involved with Playboy before she joined WWE in 2005, doing a few pictorials in 2003 and early 2004 under the name Ryan Mackenzie.

Braun had been soliciting Playmates through one of Playboy owner Hugh Hefner's girlfriends, and "was willing to solicit other Playmates and [Hefner] girlfriends" to her.

Regarding the possibility of there being another model by the name of Ashley Massaro, no one's been able to actually find any concrete evidence on that. All research on "Ashley Massaro" points to information on the WWE Diva. The WWE Diva does have a friend by the name of Loredana, an Italian model who looks similar to her in some pictures, but obviously, it's not her considering that she's in pictures with Massaro.

-- An old webpage from Bella Models lists a person by the name of Ashley Massaro, and that her booking fee was $25,000. There are no pictures, because the links are dead, so we can't tell if the Ashley Massaro in question is indeed the WWE Diva. The only information regarding Massaro listed on the page is that she's based out of New York City. It's interesting to note that the WWE site bills WWE Diva Ashley Massaro from New York City as well.
